Age 2 Mom & Tot: This program is for two year olds and their parent/caregiver. With assistance, children will learn to move creatively using a variety of props and music. Every class starts with a warm up in a circle to wake up muscles and get them ready to dance. Children will learn new moves and skills every week but will also build up a repartoire of familiar dances as children at this age love repetition. Added emphasis is on learning dance class etiquette and content for a smooth transition to unparented classes at three years old.
Age 3 Baby Ballerinas: This program focuses on many social aspects of being in a dance class without a parent. Children will learn to take turns while balancing, marching and galloping. They will also learn to move forwards, backwards and sideways while listening to entertaining music. Props are occasionally used to reinforce lessons being taught and to make classes more fun. Each session will culminate in an "in class" recital to showcase what they have learned throughout the session.
