Our Story
Alive Danceworks began in 2003 at our first location on Bow Trail S.W. We enjoyed many years there and eventually opened a second location in West Springs, however, our studio community wanted to be in ONE place and we found our home at West 85th in 2014.
Our students, families and staff have enjoyed 20 years of dance together sharing with the South West community in Calgary.
Alive Danceworks is dedicated to teaching kids about community and teamwork. We created the word “ALIVENESS” to best describe the way in which we carry ourselves. A positive and kind community of students teachers and families at Alive Danceworks.
We strive to provide a healthy atmosphere that is a safe place of self-discovery and love. Our elite faculty carries with them a deep connection and commitment to our Alive message alongside experience and dedication towards their craft. The teachers continue to inspire our dancers and provide thorough training while encouraging character and supporting dreams.
